Skin Care Routine For Summer

The scorching summer heat can be unforgiving on your skin. The intense summer sun, heat and humidity cause many skin issues. That is why you need to take care of your skin during this season.
Change Your Face Wash – Cleansing your face is the most basic skin care routine. During summers, the climate is hot and humid. Your face tends to produce more oil, so you need to change your cleanser accordingly.
Sunscreen – Make sure your skin is safe from harm with a sunscreen. Sun rays can harm your skin to a considerate extent and also cause long-term damages. Get a sunscreen that gels into your skin and gets absorbed.
Moisturisers – Applying moisturiser and sunscreen separately can be a bit too much for the skin. It can either lead to clogged pores or acne. However, using a lightweight moisturiser with a SPF of 30 or more, which will not only keep your skin protected but also moisturised.
Keep Hydrated – The most basic yet important skin care routine involves drinking lots and lots water. The easiest and most affordable thing to do instead of spending money on expensive serums or face masks is to drink water. Not only does it flush to all the toxins from your body, it also keeps your skin radiant and soft.

Exfoliate – Summer can cause your skin to become and dull. It becomes necessary to exfoliate your skin with a face scrub or natural home remedy. Not only will it remove all dry and dead cells from your pores, it will rejuvenate your skin and keep it healthier.
Also Important:
Go Easy On Make Up – Wear minimal make up during summer. Thats because your skin needs to breathe when the weather is super hot and humid. If you can’t do without foundation, a tinted moisturiser with SPF and layer it with face powder to avoid any patchy spots.
Eyes Area – The area around your eyes is more delicate than the rest of your face and needs special care. Make sure your eyes are covered with sunglasses and lips protected with a balm. Apply a moisturisering eye cream both the day and at night. Massage the area around your eyes every night to relax the muscles.
Too much sun is bad for your skin. Just like your wardrobe, your skin care too definitely needs a seasonal change.
